His spaces are recognized for their artful composition; even when they flirt with irony or the unexpected, everything is in its place. Miller’s design is sophisticated and smart, and often reflects his broad knowledge of art history, architecture, and his love of the angles and forms found in pure geometry. There is also a deeply human side to his work: his spaces are comfortable, approachable, and vivacious and can be quite witty, which is exactly how many would describe the man behind the design.
