Where interior design is part of the emotional and physical healing process, where the importance of families is strengthened, and where the irrelevance of differences is forgotten. Where Hope Has a Home is a campaign project benefitting Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. This home away from home is for local and international families with critically ill children receiving specialized treatment at the nearby facilities, but more than that it is a place were they can receive invaluable support from a community of families going through similar life challenges.

The job of the designer for their new building is to create an environment that can be at once a comfortable home and a hygienic facility. A place for relaxation, invigoration, celebration and sometimes mourning.

Steven Miller Design Studio is honored to have been selected to Design and Implement a Living Room environment that will serve the families that are faced with these challenges.
