For those of you who didn't get a chance to clink glasses with us at this spring's Decorator Showcase, we have to say, we're beyond thrilled with the positive response to our chic guest bedroom! Thank you all for the enthusiasm! And to add to the excitement, our room, inspired by mid-twentieth century Parisian decorative arts and Jean Cocteau films, will be featured in the October/"The Hottest Designers Speak Out" issue of Traditional Home Magazine! You'll see it in the "Profiles of Style" section, with a round-up of the five most captivating showcase rooms in the country. Goodness.

Since the Showcase month was nothing but parties, champers and canapés (life is rough with Paula le Duc and Taste Catering around), now that the nightly soirées are over, let us tell you what we're NOT eating. (Oh, that's no fun.)

Instead of calories, we refueled on culture with a visit to NYC. Here are some highlights for anyone heading back east:
